The Approach

How we work

Every recommendation starts with a health indicator. We establish where you actually are, build a programme around the life you actually have, and adjust it against measurements for six months.

Diagnostics first.

Nothing is recommended without something measurable behind it.

Before the programme begins, we establish a baseline from your own diagnostics — anthropometric measures alongside the metabolic markers your physician already tracks.

That baseline does two things. It tells us which levers matter most for you specifically, and it gives both of us a reference point that is not a feeling. Ontos works alongside your doctor and your own labs, never instead of them.

Three components.

  1. Nutritional optimisation

Built from your existing eating patterns rather than replacing them. The work is on satiety and blood sugar: enough protein and fibre that the evening is not decided by hunger, and meals that hold up at an event or a restaurant.

Ontos does not issue diet plans.

  2. Movement

Weighted and unweighted locomotion plus compound movements — the smallest set of patterns that maintains strength, capacity and joint health through your fifties and beyond.

No gym membership required. The equipment you need is included in the programme.

  3. Recovery

Sleep and stress are where most professional schedules fail first. Protocols are drawn from data captured during the programme, so they are refined against your own week rather than a general recommendation.

Refined from your own data, month by month.

Behaviour over restriction.

Restriction works until the week gets difficult. What holds is skill: reading a menu, ordering well at an event, keeping protein and fibre high enough that hunger is not running the decision at nine in the evening.

So the coaching is built around capability and intrinsic motivation rather than compliance. You should finish the six months able to run this without a coach — that is the measure of whether it worked.

“Healthy living should be enjoyable and sustainable.”

Built for a Nigerian professional life.

A programme that ignores your week is a programme you abandon in week five.

Hours on the road in Abuja traffic, ten at a desk, and an event culture where declining food carries a social cost. Meals cooked by someone else. Travel at short notice. A programme that ignores any of this is a programme you abandon in week five.

So the work fits the week you have. Movement designed for a room in your house. Eating patterns built from what is actually on the table in Abuja. Recovery protocols that survive a 05:30 start.
